Hi,
I've just bought a 36" beech viv for kerry and i'm not sure what size heat mat to get. I was thinking about half the size of the viv, but some people have it should be 1/3 or even 2/3. What do you recommend?

Scorpioleah is right, 1/3 of the viv. You'll find that you'll probably end up with a 11x11 inch mat. Although a 11x15 will do, but you'll have to have an inch or so hanging out.
Or is it just the shops near me that can't do 11x11? |

how deep is the viv?? to give ya an idea mines 36x18 an ive got a 11x17 mat which is just 1/3 |

11 x 11 will give enough room to route the cable without kinking it too much. |

o prefer a nice red buld for heat, stat can control it bettter i reckon, aand lets face it, heat and light come from above usually, not below, so a heat mat isn't particularly natural... |
