dont try to force feed unless its an very last resort, there are a couple of options you can choose, 1st check if the snakes needs are met ie correct temp, hides etc,the mouse is the correct size, you could feed it in a small secure place like a brown paper bag or a pillow case, you could brain the mouse(open the skull), soak the mouse in chicken soup, try live but it must fall in by accident like oh look what the cat left in the viv( and keep an eye on it and rescue it if the snake is not interested) try these methods a few times. i took on 3 baby wild caught royals that were in bad shape and had to assist feed where you place the mouses head inside the mouth and hope the snake takes over( 2 are established feeders now and grown well and sadly 1 died) but please don`t just try and ram the mouse down its throat |
