We have just found out that a corn snake has been living under the floor and behind the skirting board in our student house. Rspca have been round and couldnt get to it. It tends to emerge from the skirting board and hide iteslf in piles of clothes. So we have cleared alot of the room.
Any suggestions to luring it out would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably finding the hot water pipes to stay warm poor little fella. Good luck with catching him. Keep us posted. |

Good luck getting it!! I have an Amel too, there my Fav Morph. Mine NEARLY GOT out the other day.. also try setting tin foil near the floorboards and stuff so you can hear it moving.. or sprinkle some flour down and check to see if its moved over it, that way you can maybe figure out where its going |

Aww, poor thing... If it used to be a pet, maybe just try picking it up when you can? I don't think its likely to bite... |

I may be getting a lost n found snake soon as well. A vicar in a church up the road from me found one in his church, i've spoken to him and if no one claims it within the next few days, i can have it.
Woo Hoo, From the piccy i've seen it's about 15inchs long and a normal. But i'm no good on morphs. |

It's been caught. after 4 days of bottle traps nothing. then i just put the heating in the house on full all day and it was slightly showing a coil from under the skirting board. Used a coat hangar to pull one coil out then got it!
Will post pics wen its in the viv etc. It's already eaten two fluffs so it seems in good shape. |

Yea we're going to keep it. After talking it through with the housemates we all agreed it is indeed very cool. And the snake came free. |
