Hi

I bought a corn snake yesterday and it is about 3.5 months old. I am an inexperienced keeper and was wondering if anyone has advise or tips that may assist me?
I'm not worried about being bitten and the feedng things fine but I don't want to get this wrong and end up with a snake that hates me and just wants to eat me.

Leave the snake at least a week to get over the stress of moving and to get used to it's new surroundings.

Read the care sheets you can find on the Internet (especially the one on this site!) - some give out slightly different information so read several and then use common sense or ask on here for clarification...

hi jemma and welcome to the forum, one thing i will say is when you do feed, put the snake into a seperate tub then he wont associate you putting your hand in his home with feeding time.
