i got a snow corn 2da (ment 2 b two albino corns but sold) bort her home put her in viv n left her, jst went 2 chek her n realised her thermostat/heatmat isnt workin (neice/water not gud mix) i have ordered 1 n it wil b here 2moz at around 6pm i hav set up a spare lamp i hav but not on a thermostat do u think she wil b ok til the new stuff arrives if i keep a on her? |

I think you're probably best to just put her in a warm room (no draughts) without a heat source for a day rather than an uncontrolled bulb. |

When I had Dusk (he arrived unexpectedly via my brother) I popped half his tub on a hot water bottle covered with cloth until his viv and equiptment arrived the next day. |

I would use a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel under underneath if its a plastic tank, if not I would leave it in a warm room. |

ok stuf has arrived n jst set it up she seems fine as i jst fed her n she ate it str8 away in the end i decided 2 control t light manualy alnite i lost a days wages but she is ok! n that is more important i can make up days pay 2moz so win win. i think we also bonded during it as normaly wen u get a new snake u shud leave it a few days 2 settle in rite? but as i sed she ate n kept it dwn no probs.(i think she understands wot i did 4 her) thanx guys 4 ur help |

most people recommend leaving them alone for a week, then a feed, followed by a further 2 days of not handling to allow the snake to digest it's meal. THEN handling and interacting with your new pet.

I hope she keeps it down for you, as GP says, its common practice to leave for at least a week to allow adjustment and to not handle for 48hr after feeding. |

yeah so far its stayed dwn i can stil c it in her stomach n she cums 2 glass wen i go in 2 c her, so i dnt think the experience has had ne effect on her really, wel nun that i can c or she is showing ne wa |
