Hey guys my Baby Amel is currently in 'Shed Mode' And is nearly done i think! Lol and he hasnt been fed since last Monday so i thought i might aswell try him.. now he took 2pinkies down no problem at all. I know some people say some Corns refuse but he didnt seem to mind.. is it ok? Will it help his Shed?

if they'll eat whilst they're in the shedding process that's fine, if they don't that's fine too. i personally don't feed mine when they're shedding just to try and make their lifestyle a bit more natural - in the wild they'd hide somewhere cosy till they've shed rather than be out looking for food.

Ok, i just read over the place that some snakes will refuse and others wont, tho it was a close one! I had the pinky on tongs and wiggling it and he was about to munch into himself because i moved it to try and get him to turn around coz he was curled up.. so he is definately blind so its a positive sign hes Shedding lol! As long as it wont do him harm thats ok.. phew

The only thing I've heard of is that all the effort required to shed straight after a meal can cause a regurge, but I've never seen it myself. Wiggle will eat whenever food is offered.

That's what you get for letting the kids choose the name.

i have had 1 corn regurge after a feed while shedding. but only happened once. he is fine and feeding fine now. but if noodle still has blue eye he will have probably digested enough by the time he needs to shed.

so does mine, he never has refused food whatsoever, the only difference is he never constricts when in blue (when hes eyes are blue)he just gently takes the mouse and starts swallowing lol

Ill judge it depending when Angelina last fed and i expect her to shed, she does take food when in shed though!

My slim has done both, sometimes he eats, sometimes he doesn't. One of the first times he shed for me he was in shed for ages, then took two pinkies down and left the skin for me that very evening.

I dont feed while in shed just for the reason that if she doesnt take it, thats one meal wasted. They dont mind either way (even though she would probably take it).

Well tbh its been hard for me to tell about his eyes since hes Amel i cant really tell. I guess as he Sheds more i will be ablke to notice, but he nearly bit himself so he is definately blind lol, he took the 2pinkies down no problem at all.. to be honest, he scoffed them! :)

I have just done the same. Eyes went blue friday and saturday, clear by sunday. Fed him today so expecting shed within next couple of days!
Although he didn't take the mice out of the tongs like usual and seemed a bit shy?!
