Well after months nearly a year of trying for a snake my dad has changed his mind. But i have asked my mum if i could after my GCSE's. (another 6 Months or so) But thats better tha never. Only because my dad likes lizards better i think but my mum said i could have a snake.

I know. They said ye for my 16th and now xhanged there mind id got enogh over christmas to buy a really good setup i got £250! So tht was a waste. But im going to buy one when i dun my gcse's. So then i got like 8 weeks with it lol! I will get one no matter wht!!!

How about buying the setup anyway, that will show that you're serious enough to commit your money to it even though you know you can't get one yet.

Also, if they then tried to postpone again it would be them wasting your already spent money, which I'm sure you could work .

Plus you'll be nice and ready to go when you get the nod if they're drunk or ill and say yes when you keep nagging, before they can change their mind.

Take a photo, get it blown up, and stick it in your living room as a poster That will be a daily reminder for them
