You don't have to stick with the same time each week, but for younger snakes i'd say the same day, if you're on a 7 day feed. Obviously if your snake is only tiny and you're on a 5 day feed, then it'll be every 5 days.
Where mine are all older, i feed mine irregularly now. Instead of every 7, 10 or 14 days I fluctuate mine. So they could have a feed today, then not until next for another 10 days, then it might be 7 days, then 14 etc.
I prefer doing this, as snakes in the wild only eat when they can so they wont have a tasty mouse every 7 days. Although this method of feeding isn't recommended until you've got a nice old(mine are about 9) snake that is well settled. |

i do the same as Kehhlyr with my adult corns but the yearlings are fed every 5-7 days (alternating, and depending if they had a particularly large or small feed last time) varying the number of days between feeds means i can make sure i don't have the mammoth task of feeding everything on the same night, AND having no snakes to play with for 48 hours!
i usually feed on an evening but if i'm tired or don't have time then i'll feed them the following morning first thing - as much for variety for the snakes as my laziness! my Royal python will only feed on a morning so if you have an iffy feeder it's worth trying different times of day to see if they have a preference |

Im the same as above, mine is a good age and settled. Like GP says If I havent got the time to feed mine when I was going to, the snake isnt going to care (they dont hold grudges either ).
If you feed in the evening your more likly to get a more better, more calculated feeding response. |
