I thought live feeding was only legal if approved by a vet?

I found out the problem . . . i went to the shop and the experienced reptile section bloke was in and back from his holiday, he told me the snake had been blind in one eye since brth and there is defo no infection, the vet has seen it ,it eats and is perfectley healthy, however he did say the person that sold it to my mother knew this and should have also explained. He offered me a exchange but this was the last female, but he said i could exchange it for any snake, even the adult pythons! worth 300 euros. . . but i was happy to hear that she is fine, not infected and has also been bred twice both being successful with 20 eggs.
she's getting on well with my male and is very curious.
and i have named her lexie lol
Thanks everyone for all your suggestions :)

I think that store deserves a shout out on here. To quote Tim Nice-But-Dim "bloody nice guy".

that's a good outcome and i'm glad lexie is ok, shame the original bloke in the shop wasn't so honest and up front with your mum though.
