Never heard of snakes getting fleas but then fleas arn't that picky so they may feed on your corn, im not sure. If anything the fleas will be able to live in the snakes substrate and re-infest your cat and house in a vicious circle so its probly best to disinfect the whole thing. It would be also wise to de-flea your carpet and furniture and flea eggs will fall off your cat and live in there. |

good points made by Ell there. cat/dog fleas may occasionally 'try' a snake like they 'try' people but a snake or human won't host fleas like a cat or dog will. and if you're de-fleaing your house be sure to move the snakes out of the room you're currently treating |

if you want to de flea a cat without putting your snakes in danger of chemicals, try putting the cat in a secure bag with a few bricks and place in a dustbin full of water for a couple of hours, when you take the bag out all the fleas will be dead and so will the cat, so no more future infestations |

Has Kaz pilfered your username???
I'm surprised she didn't think of that idea first.
I however would feed the cat to a nice big snake, saves on buying food then, be able to get a couple beers with the money saved! |
