HI all. Since my Daughter got tagged by her snake Lester she cann't bring herself to hold him. Is anyone out there able to say somthing to put her mind at rest and that things will get better........

She is only 9yrs old..

don't worry, most of have all been tagged by our snake, and I had a real fear of holding cecil when I first got him.
the only thing that can be said is persevere, it may help by wearing some gloves at first until they get used to the feel of being held,

lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!!

Good idea eejit.

Apart from that you can only keep encouraging her. Was it a nasty bite?

How did it happen? If it was a feeding mistake you might just have to explain that the snake was confused and that it didn't mean to hurt her.

Hopefully, she'll lose all that fear when she holds him again. It's a 'geeting back on the bike' thing

since taking this pic. I continued to handle cecil and even took him live on my local morning radio show.

lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!!

Lol that snake looks like it needs to poop :P

Good luck with the handling, its very rare an animal bites so if you can ID what caused it to you should be able to sort it out quickly :)
