two weeks ago i changed the lighting by 30 min since then my girl has stopt feeding could it be that she whants to sleep

If they have got hides then light shouldn't really matter anyway- they'll sleep when they want if they can find a safe place to do it.

i wouldnt worry mine are being real fussy feeders at the moment and i dont know why... im putting down to the colder weather.

ok it was a bit dumb from me to say sleep i ment winter sleep brumation. i was planing to start in december and was completley suprised to learn that some corns stop eating on there own i reduced the lighting by 30 min and shes just stopt. my male carnt get enough so ive stopt feding him now so they can both hybanate at the same time

Corns don't have to brumate, as most people only do it if they are planning to breed in the spring.

They will go to sleep if the temperatures are lowered, but if you would rather keep them awake just monitor the temps a bit better and make sure it's warm enough for them.

They can breed without brumation, although some people would say you get better results if the female has been brumated.

I'm sure Saddleninja has had good results without brumating his snakes though.

hi mark, to brumate your snakes you need to turn down the heating till end of january, but corns will go right through the winter and still sucessfully breed

have ternd of the heating after two weeks no food and now the snakes are up in the loft its about 20 degres up there how long should i leave them up there the one snake hasent eaten for 4 weeks and is now 280g
