We had a powercut last night, ended up only being for a couple of hours, but just wondering how long my corn could withstand no/little heat?
what should i do if it happens again ?! |

a few hours should be fine like phil says, if it was really cold and you have a gas hob you could heat up some water in a pan then fill a hot water bottle and put it in the viv. not boiling though! it's just a temporary measure - the snakes have a heat source and can move away from it if they get too hot. |

ok thanks peeps.
i knew he'd be ok for a bit, but it made me think that if it was for a longer period of time that i didn't know what to do!! yes i have a gas hob, so i'll bear the hot water bottle one in mind!! thanks! |

Put it this way, with Corns if my thermostat broke I'd rather turn all my mats off rather than leave them to get too hot. Think of it as brumation. |
