hi i think this is the place to post this as i have noticed that there is not a of topic forum. i cant sleep (again) and seeing as im probs going to like this for at least the next few months (probs alot longer as im having a baby) i was wondering if you guys have any remedies to help me drift of for a nice nights nap. any ideas welcome

| Welcome to the joys of parenthood darling !!!! I always found a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow helped me sleep, if your uncomfortable try laying on your side with a pillow under your knees, it helps the pressure on your pelvis. Dont worry once the baby arrives you will be so tired your be able to sleep anytime anywhere. Its well worth it thou i promise. Good luck, keep us informed. I was wondering if lewy would put a topic for pics of our newest members. Under other reptiles will be good lol. |

Hi Roz, you really are taking the breeding side seriously, have you got your incubator ready for your new arrival?lol.
My wife used to swear by the lavender oil like Rie as suggested and even used to add a few drops into a bath which helped her to relax whilst she was pregnant with our twins.

| May sound simple but i find just a radio on very quietly helps me to drift off, oh and absolutely zero light else im struggling hehe |

I have Brandy - but I guess that's no good with a baby on the way.
Try dry toast - complex carbohydrates... should send you straight off. |

Was chatting with my mate aswell and apparantly, kinda strange but, a lettuce sandwich helps as there is a natural ingreedient in lettuce that aids relaxation and sleep, might be worth a try :)

| Don't worry, I've not slept for the last few nights, maybe it's the heat- it makes you restless sometimes. (Although I have had a few job interviews this week so that can affect your sleepy time too) |

| i cant get to sleep either at the moment. i'm restless because of the heat. So if i cant get sleep i play on my PS3 until my eyes hurt then i just drop off lol. Also i turn the light on in my geckos tank and watch them and i nod off too. lol |

| I have heard that a lettuce sandwich helps you fall asleep. One of the main ingredients in NYTOL is wild lettuce so there may be some truth in it! |
