                      | I have my miami phase called Star. (Photos coming soon) I have had him since he was 3 weeks old. And he is now coming up for 5 years old and he is still 3 and a half foot. Is this normal for miami phases to be slightly smaller than other corn snake morphs. I have gone to the vets about this and they said he is completely healthy and well fed. So i am just wondering if it is just his type of corn snake. If anyone can help i would really appreciate it. | |

                      | as far as i know, there are no size differances in corn snake morphs. As long as he is healthy and a decent weight for his lenght he will be fine. Is he still growing but slowly or has he totaly stopped? |

                      | According to the vet he has totally stopped growing. Which had me wondering. He hasnt been probed though so it could be possible he might be a she. I will findout next week when i take him to the vets. |

                      | somebody was advertising some 'dwarf corns' a while ago, i think they looked more like the kastanie or caramel colouring rather than miami's though. |

                      | Snakes never stop growing, they just grow slower. |

                      | Thanks for that Ell. I think he is a miami, but he looks alot darker coloured than they do on the site. Im not sure if that helps, tried to weigh him today but he wasnt having it getting on scales, will try tomorrow to get his weight. |

                      | a handy hint I found if you want them to stay still is to put him in a pillow case, with a knot in the top and then you should be able to weigh him quite easily. |
                      | lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!!
