Is there anyone that knows anywhere i can get Vivs built to my own designs in the South Yorkshire area.

I've got a growing number of snakes now and would like to get a nice setup, I've done the designs in 3D so know what I want them to look like and sizes etc:

Links please if there is any.

Thanks!

A rule of the thumb for the size of viv for an adult corn is to add the length and width of your viv and it should be the same length of your snake. i.e. 3ft length + 1ft width = 4 ft snake.

What type of glass did you use Lewy?, i am making a viv stack myself similar to your drawings but have been quoted over £160 for toughened glass. Do i need toughened or safety glass or will any glass do as long as i get the edges polished smooth.

My hubby is building one for us. We've just ordered a cheap wardrobe that he is going to convert into 4. The doors he's going to cut up to use as plinths at the front so it all matches.

try ikea, some of the units there are ready built. Just add runners glass & vents. Depending on the size you're looking for it can work out cheaper, plus they also do rack systems.
