My corn keeps hiding in the substrate. It tunnels into it and hides. Is this normal for corns? As he is a new addition I am resisting the temptation to handle him until after his first feed. Buy I have never had a snake do this. It's a great hiding place though!

Corns do burrow and hide. They're more active in the nights.
Nothing to worry about. :)

Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to put my mind at ease. I will put a bit more substrate in at the next clean if it's a common thing for Corns.

Thanks

2 inches should be fine. Just put 2-3 hides in and some decoration i.e plants/cork bark and it should start hiding in there.

Slim does it all the time, often because he is in a plastic fauvarium (sp?) i lift it up and look underneath to check he's still there. Loads of little tunnels he makes :)

When mine was in the Faun, I used to do that :D

Pick it up, and there he'd be on the floor.
