they'll generally refuse 2nd or 3rd helpings when they're full, if they've had a particularly big meal increase the number of days between feeds. it IS possible to overfeed them, i used to have a fat sqidgy amel, when i bought him i put him on a diet (smaller mice) and with regular handling I started to get him a little more toned up, lol. |

It's really easy to overfeed a corn. Most will just eat and eat.
Cyd once got a double chin because she was eating too much. Had to put her on a diet for being a little fatty |

mine seem limit themselves to 2 or 3 each feed, it's hard to get them to take any more. but i'm not a 'feed every XXXday' type owner I vary the number of days between feedings (sometimes not deliberately, I just forget to look on my calendar that day, lol) i think corns get too fat when they're fed a lot AND fed frequently. |

I think they will eat what they can when they can. If they are offered a meal chances are they will scoff it. I dont always feed a certain number of days either. If im busy i feed them a day or two later and if i come home and fancy feeding and its a day before feeding day i feed them then. |
