Just wondered if any one had any tried and tested ways of making nice, neat holes, before I let Lewy lose on it with a Black and Decker super drill? |

I use a drill, but measure it up first and it looks quite neat :) Or you could melt holes into it, but its more effort and doesnt look as nice =p |

drill then sandpaper the edges to get rid of any sharp bits. DON'T press too hard or the plastic will split - i know from experience! |

I see the logic but i usually drill from the outside then finish with sandpaper - that way if you scuff some of the plastic when rubbing it down the marks don't show as they're underneath the lid..... that's GP logic! |

Thanks for all the answers...
...now how many holes would I need to put in it if I'm housing a BRB? I need to keep the humidity pretty high- around 70-80% |

start with few holes. Make the set up, then you can always add more if the humidity is too much. Its easier to add more than to make less. |

That depends how big they are. One of mine is in a temporary RUB with holes at the side, at opposite ends. Works fine. He hasn't suffocated. I would start small, with a few holes, test the humidity before you add the snake. You can then add more holes if needed. |
