Out of 11 of my corn snake hatchlings, only one of them refused to eat. She's the smallest out of all my hatchlings this year so i also have to half the pinkie for her. She's about 4 weeks old now and i had previously tried braining and scenting with an adult mouse which didn't even get her interested. The other night i tried something else, i petted my pet rabbit and used the fur that had shed in my hand to sent the pinkie with, i then halved the pinkie, placed her and the pinkie in a waxworm tub and left her for an hour, when i decided to take her out i looked in the tub and there was no pinkie in sight! Finally found her weekness lol. I'll keep scenting for the next few feeds then ween her onto unaltered pinkies!
Here she is after her first successful feed...
 Her names Tiny btw :P

Nice bulge:-) that could sound so wrong. Also fed Zissou for the first time this weekend. It's not a fussy snake, had 2 pinkies and grabbed both straight away.

Get a nice big Burm, then you wont need to use the rabbit to scent, just the whole thing. |
