Well, the local shop I work at, have said a small vivarium. (Unsure on dimensions sorry!) Would keep 2 adult corns as the cage has to be half it's size.
Is this correct, as with the viv I'm thinking of getting a smaller one at first to keep it in for a while. |

A two foot might be classed as a small one, depends what its compared to, but i would not keep two adults in a two foot viv. |

Yeah, I'll probably get a 3-4ft Viv for 2 adults. But a smaller viv for Jeff when he's young. |

doesn't sound great to be honest, as a guide most people use:
length of viv + depth of viv = length of snake
so a viv measuring 36" and 12 " si suitable for a snake for up to 48" long |

Say my corn is, an average 4ft, what vivarium would be suitable? |

You want a 3ft minimum for a 4ft snake. if i was housing two adults i would get a 4x1x2/4x2x2 that sort of size. |

Would it stress my younger corn too much if I put him straight into it? He's about 4 months. |

So it'd be a wiser idea, for now at his size, move into a smaller vivarium then within 2-3 years a larger 4 footer one? |

I just bought a second hand 4 foot viv to tidy up and move my Corn into as soon as he is ready, but it will be a while yet, I might divide half of it off with some ply or something so he can move in there sooner. |

As long there are a lot of hides for him I think he should be ok - I put mine in a 3 ft viv when she was quite young but it was really cluttered with different hides! in the wild it is a vast area but they just move around from one hide to another. |

I am of the opinion that more room is good as long as there are plenty of hides. In the wild they have no problem with the entire American continent as their "vivarium". |

But these are captive breds, so it's innate to be in a tank without full freedom. :P |
