does any 1 no if it is allright to use rubber bands or run of the mill pva type glue (already checked it is solvent free) in a viv |

I would say rubber bands would be ok, but no idea about the glue sorry. |

Id say they would both be ok, but just tell it to be careful of its eyes if he starts playing with the rubber band. |

I think the pva SHOULD be alright, because if it was toxic in anyway then they wouldn't be able to use it in schools (we've recently been banned the use of Tippex, so the regulations are stricter than you think), but it's good that you are checking first.
Hope someone knows more than we do so you can be certain. |

They've banned Tippex in schools?!?!? What were they doing with it???
There was a kid in my school who ate PVA lots and he is still alive.. but is a woman now.. so if you don't mind that happening to you snake.. lol. It is non toxic
I'd say just make sure it is really dry and there isn't too much excess that could either melt and get sticky/on your snakey or look globular and edible.. |

HEY GUYS, I used "POWER BOND" FROM WILKOS damn good stuff just needs 20mins in a warm room to go off and hey presto ur sorted. Used it to glue my background to the back of my viv and its stuck like dooo dooo to a blanket

There is a downside to PVA glue. It's water based, so if it gets wet or damp it would become gluey again.
I know that sounds daft, but it's the only thing i could think of to describe it.
What is it you need to glue or hold together then?
