Hi there I am new to the world of snakes and im looking for a corn snake.
I have just bought Underworld T.Rex Perfecto Snake Vivarium Starter Kit Size 16" x 8" x 10" - 40cm x 20cm x 25cm. how long would the snake be happy in a this size Viv.

if it's length is 16" and the depth is 8", that adds up to 24" so a corn should be happy in that till he's 24" long. that's an average size for a yearling so would therefore last about a year before you'd need to upgrade.

hi there mitch, i had one of those for my cecil, and it lasted him till he was just over 10 months, he was in it till he was just over 2' like gp says and then I moved him up to a 2' handmade viv.

lost track of the day's now, but I'm getting my amel stripe corn on the 2nd of August!!!

hi and welcome, your snake should be fine for upto 18 months, but you would have to keep an eye on its growth rate

Welcome, yeh i'd start looking for a new viv when the snake get's to about a year, you could even build your own, there are some great guides on here.
