Lovely snake with nice symetrical head markings on the parietals.
Try to feed two pinkies, or a large pinky.
If you buy them from a rep shop, ask to pick your own from the freezer. That way you can select the feed size.
Have you had the snake popped? Id guess female from the pic.

Hi Mark - thanks. The rep shop thought he was male because he had a longer tail but we haven't had him checked. Rep man is relatively new at it so he could be wrong.
Going to try him on 2 mice tonight to see how he goes. We have been feeding him every six days and he seems really hungry when we offer him the mouse so I think 2 might keep him going longer!

i'd say about the same size as my little boy two and a half to 3 mnths old mine is two and a half and he is now on 2 pinkys every 5 days.Very beautiful snake by the way lovely colours. Forgot to say welcome to the forum i have learned lots since i have joined and they are a friendly lot.

He does look very similar to yours - weve had him for 5 wks now. Our guess is 3-4 months old, maybe a bit younger. I can't wait to see how he gets on with his 2 mice tonight - he'll think its christmas!

i have had mine 4 weeks now and he has shed once and i started him on 2 pinkys on tuesday which he took very well, i got him sexed today so found out he was a boy so now i have to pick a name for him which will be fun.

Ours is called Bubbles - he actually belongs to my 8 year old and she picked the name! Because of the orange spots down his back which look like Bubbles. He shed 3 weeks ago. Good luck with the name - let us know what you decide.

i searched for dragons and serpents names and it gave me a few to choose from and my baby male corn is now called apophis.
