I think that the recommended way is to add the male to the female's viv rather than the other way round.

yes I'd agree with that BE, ideally after a quarantine period (not that I necessarily have done in the past!). You can also handle one snake then the other without washing your hands in between so they familiarise themselves with the smell of the other snake. Both snakes should be a similar size as previously discussed on this thread. Providing enough hides is essential, one each in the hot end and one each in the cool end is a minimum. Only need one water bowl though. Fortunately as my pairs are all different morphs its easy to tell which one has shed and with checking them daily you know which one has been blue anyway. Feeding must be done separately to avoid intimidation, bullying or both snakes going for the same mouse (it's also easier for record keeping as you know exactly when each ate and the size of the meal).
This is what has worked for me in the past although I'm open to suggestions

There's a few heated post on here - I agree with the opinion that Corns should be kept separate until breeding size or age, and also in the correct size viv - putting two hatchling corns in a 4foot viv will only stress the snakes out and cause feeding problems, etc
Why not put a partition in the middle of the viv and when the snakes are breeding age take the partition out of the viv as suggested? Better for the snake in the long run!

All opinions are welcome here! If you ask a question and someone replies with advice, great - that's what the forum is for! But please don't get annoyed when the advice goes against your intentions!

E.maccoll - You shouldn't make this your 'last post' calm down a little and listen to people's advice. The advice given has been good and you can learn from it! You are still welcome in this forum!!!

Liverpoolmadman - we want everyone here and people shouldn't leave! We are here to help people... and hopefully they will take the advice we can give them, please don't tell them to leave when they seem like they are not - I don't wish this forum to turn into what other forums have become! Everyone should feel welcome! If people decide not to take advice it is their choice, I do feel sorry for the snakes if advice isn't taken but there is not much we can do about that - pushing people away just means they'll never take the advice! Ps congrats on the new snake

Thanks to all that posted with advice,

Lewy
