If you put 2 baby corns in a 4' viv you may never see them again.

You're going to have to separate them soon anyway so I'd suggest splitting it in 2 with a partition, you can still keep them in one half if you like and then the viv'll be ready when you do.

Unfortunately this is rubbish and you could end up with a poorly/dead snake, why take the risk?

Split them up when they are bigger for definate, the rep shop i got my first snake from lost one of theirs due to a male finding his way into the female viv and impregnating her too early on and she went gravid and was too small to even have a sucessful op.. so there's that theory out the window.

That was so the word i was looking for.. i knew gravid wasn't quite what i meant. Yes poor little thing, they were gutted, a great rep shop though i can't stress enough the procations they took to stop this happening but we all know what escape artists corns can be.

I don't know if the tone of a few of your posts have been misinterpreted by me...........

I fully support the opinion of Blackecho and everyone else that has posted on this topic that it IS best to split up male and female juvenile corns until they are physically old enough to cope with breeding.
If you want a happy healthy snake you would not introduce unnecessary risks, particularly as fatality is a highly likely outcome.
On a similar vein, snakes eat live prey in the wild, does that mean you feel it's acceptable to feed live every time you feed your snake? There's various evidence of the damage a live mouse can do to a snake, most people reserve live feeding for a very last resort when all else has failed.
