I've just been on Freecycle and someone is Barnsley is offering free Guinea Pigs....

My first thought was that that would be very useful for some one with a large boa

Am I a bad person

I'd call it resourceful, but maybe a little morally wrong if the person thinks they are giving these guinea pigs to a lovely new home.

I hate guinea pigs, I think you should do it in fact, buy a boa just so you can feed them to it!

I still don't know why you hate guinea pigs so much!

What's wrong with them? Are they in league with cats or something?

I like cats , i dont like rabbits and guinea pigs and they dont like me. Its a mutual agreement. They just scratch me all the time! I have loads of scratches down my arms from where i have worked with them today. I just wanna lob them all in with the boas

Edit = Its not that i dont handle them correctly, we just dont get on!

Don't they use them as food when they get big and ugly in zoos anyway?

I once went to Steve Irwin's Australia zoo in Brisy and the guide told us that all the little baby cute sheep and goats got to play in the petting zoo while they were little, but when they got older they became crocodile or anaconda fodder!

Personally, after a year or so being surrounded and stroked and fussed over by small children the death roll would be a welcome alternative

The guinea pigs at the zoo are handled by little smelly folk (children i think they're called?) daily so any snake that eat 'em will get some sort of disease

This is extremely cruel, just because you can't see them. As they freeze all the liquids start to expand and burst the vessels.

I'd much rather give them a little tap on the head

Don't say that around BE! I think he likes kids!

Think he needs a quick tap on the head. It would knock some sense into him

I used to work on a Pig Farm and a Duck farm in my younger days, lost count of the animals I had to kill, you get immune after a bit.

I once cried because i killed a pregnant fly (maggots came out) i don't think i've got that killer instinct. However animals killing other animals doesn't bother me, like deers and lions or guinea pigs and boas.

One of the vet nurses at work drove a 120 mile round trip to take some baby shrews to a sanctuary who would have them, I suggested she dropped them in at mine on her way home as I could 'use' them

Sensible idea, that's what I would've done.
Well, I wouldn't dropped em to you, i would've 'used' them myself.
