Yeh, i must say that's quite a bit darker than you can see through my snow, and i can't really think why it would go back towards the head, if it was an organ it shouldn't move that much and would be a bit lighter and if it was food then it should really only move towards the tail... i'd agree with Leyrielton2 and take a trip to the vets, better to be safe than sorry.

my poor boy id take him to the vets asap. when i got him he had loads of mites all over him and he wont eat hes gone without food for nearly a month. could it be a parasite or something. will it kill him

Let's not get carried away, poor thing was obviously not in a very good condition when you got him and you've done well to get rid of the mites, if he is not eating it could just be something simple like temperature which will be easily fixed but it's well worth getting it checked out. I don't know what it is so i personally don't know how serious it is but it is pointless getting upset and worked up until you know a bit more. Let us know how it goes and try not to upset yourself.
