hey guys, ive had my corn for the around 4 months now. hes a year old. Seems he really doesnt like being picked up initially. Fine once your holding him. He wont bite but tries to escape everytime i try to pick him up. Over the last two weeks i have handled him more than twice simple because he latches onto things in his viv. any advice?

Try opening the viv and letting him come out by himself, they're usually fine once they're out.

taking things out is a little difficult. Ive setup a natural style enviroment, which is why i think im having issues. Thanks blackecho, i tried your suggestion, he came out today picked him up which a little more ease but hes still little hesistant. With time i hope hell carm down a little. I did however, manage to feed him from a dish whilst he was on my hand. that was interesting.

oh this is my viv setup: http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=484
