Hey everyone! Like last year, I'll be streaming live footage of my snakes / eggs (as soon as they are laid). I just installed the cam in the bucket that will function for Saphira as a place for her to lay her eggs, and later as my home made incubator. She looks like she's ready to lay her eggs any time now, so keep an eye on them! :)

Last year, Saphira laid 11 eggs that all hatched into healthy young snakes (8 wild types and 3 amels), so I'm hoping for something similar this year :D

I was up real late watching that one on the right make his way out lol. I saw that too Rachey! about 1.25am!! he turned straight to camera and did a massive yawn!so cute!

It can take as much as 48 hours for them to emerge after pipping for the first time. The fastest I had was a hatchie we nicknamed Falcon Punch - he pretty much punched a hole in the egg and emerged within like 2 hours

It's really hard for me to be away from them, but this vacation had been planned for almost a year. I'm travelling with my boyfriend and a close friend, so it wasn't just my own vacation either.

It's still really exciting to watch this from over the internet though, and I can't wait to actually see them myself and hold them!

just had a look, and theres two more noses poking out, and another big brave one clambering right out to have a proper look at the world-

its so fab having the live stream- thank you for doing it-- i'm completely addicted

(though I really don't know how you can bear to be away from them, Isoldael, with all this going on-

And here's the first pictures, taken by my parents, of the very first hatchling!

It's only a normal, but I love how much orange he shows already and how many connected dots he has starting from his head:
