Hey everyone! Like last year, I'll be streaming live footage of my snakes / eggs (as soon as they are laid). I just installed the cam in the bucket that will function for Saphira as a place for her to lay her eggs, and later as my home made incubator. She looks like she's ready to lay her eggs any time now, so keep an eye on them! :)

Last year, Saphira laid 11 eggs that all hatched into healthy young snakes (8 wild types and 3 amels), so I'm hoping for something similar this year :D |

| I just hope Saphira will be alright after she lays those eggs. She seems to stop eating fairly soon after the breeding season starts, which isn't great obviously... |

| A question that came up today on the stream: Saphira has been "bathing" a lot recently, just sliding through the water or even resting inthere for a bit. Has anyone else seen this on gravid snakes, or could it mean something else? |

I cohabit saphira and jake (I know how people feel about it here, but it's a decision I made knowing all the facts) and they always seem to be fine together. Last year, Jake was in the bucket with her when she started laying her eggs and she didn't seem bothered one bit :).
