my thermostat when set on 28 the lowest it drops is 26.8 and then it goes back up to 28
if i set it on to 29 the lowest it goes is 27.8 but the highest it goes is 29.8
is this to high and the thermostat i have is a thermacontrol 2 |

if your stat probe isn't in the incubator it's not measuring the temps in the incubator, that's why there's such fluctuation - the stat is controlling and regulating the mat in the viv instead |

my incubator is a poly box with a matted stat but the stat is currently in my tank and its on top of the chippings/aspen |

it's a safe temperature range for incubation but aren't the thermocontrol stats supposed to be better than that?
where have you got the stat and therm probes? and what's your incubator like? |
