Hi
I have decided to brumate my corns this year in preparation for breeding in the spring. My house is well heated and I am trying to find a place to house them during the winter period.
I am thinking about putting them in the loft, so over the last couple of weeks I have been monitoring max / min temps up there. They are fluctuating between 7 and 13 degrees.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this who have brumated in this way?

dont drop your temps that low, you want to be between 10 and 15, 10 being the absolute lowest.
You need to drop the temps gradually, over a few weeks, making sure that the last meal has passed through the snake, otherwise it will rot in their gut. |

i think your ment to brumate at 8 - 12 degres it's quite precise but i havent brumated my corns im just going to leave it
coz u don't HAVE to brumate them but it does increase clutch size and fertilty :) |
