I leave them for 48 hours and make sure there is no vivsible lump. The lump is normly gone after around 24 hours though.

Hehe XD well I wait with my adults as they have big poos x.x plus my girl has a massive bulge in her for around a week and I don't want to pick her up incase it's a meal instead of poo...

that is what i do wth monty but more for the reason that his poos are huge so...
Sta~ple Posted - 24/04/2010 : 11:58:50
I'd wait until he poos or there is no lump to handle him as then you know if he has actually digested the meal and won't come back up.

yes that is perfectly normal, he will hide away in hot side and digest his food. he will let you now sometimes when he wants to come out. my snake will hide for about 3 days then will start to venture out his hide and that is when i now that he wants to come out but if yor snake is new then he might not have the comfidence to come out himself. i would leave it till monday night to get him out, but don't worry, it is all perfectly normal what you are describing
