Morning folks. I fed my corn yesterday at 5.30pm what day is it safe to allow him out of his viv for a run round and some much missed handling???? I hate to see him locked away.

usual scale of hand is 48 hours, so if you fed him yesterday about monnday should be fine, maybe sunday.

thats good thanks dont mind waiting that long will just keep myself buisy while waiting lol he hasnt moved much since eating is that normal?

yes that is perfectly normal, he will hide away in hot side and digest his food. he will let you now sometimes when he wants to come out. my snake will hide for about 3 days then will start to venture out his hide and that is when i now that he wants to come out but if yor snake is new then he might not have the comfidence to come out himself. i would leave it till monday night to get him out, but don't worry, it is all perfectly normal what you are describing

I'd wait until he poos or there is no lump to handle him as then you know if he has actually digested the meal and won't come back up.

I leave them for 48 hours and make sure there is no vivsible lump. The lump is normly gone after around 24 hours though.
