 How to heat up the cold end?

My cold side is droping to 70. my hot end is at 83 85. how can i heat the cold side up?

Yes get one if you're doing this for the cold end exclusively. Your heating bill will be more than the cost of a new heat mat for cold end!

Seriously though, 20-21 is ok. Obviously a degree or two would be prefered but since you have a spare stat for your electric heater you may as well spend £12 for another mat.

Was thinking about this last night.

What I do is keep my whole room at the same temp as the cold side, with a electric heater & stat.
Considering a 2nd heat mat though, to give a more precise temp, because these winters are getting colder and colder!

If im correct 70F is about 21c.

I wouldnt say thats a huge problem. My cold end drops to 18 in the night, 20-22 in the day.

It has been suggested that another heat mat is used in the cold end, set to maybe 22.
