my juvie girls only ever poke their noses out when they can smell food defrosting, my boys are often out and about being sociable a few days after feeding

both responses are normal though

Its normal not to see them for a while after a feed

Yeah perfectly, snakes arent very active for around 48 hours after feed! they need this time to digest their food!

yeah thats normal.. he might also be still getting used to his new home

did i see elsewhere that you only picked him up on monday or am i confusing you with someone else? if you only picked him up on monday then you need to leave him for a week to settle in no feeding no handling just spot checks in the substrate and changing the water

Mine are pretty much the same , I never see them for a couple of days after a feed . They spend their time digesting the meal in peace and quiet .

Except my little Amel ofc , always about , even after a feed she likes to be nosying :)
