Posted - 05/08/2009 : 22:57:48 TBH i don't bother with a hygrometer, dial or digi, normal room humidity is fine and if there's ventilation, water in the cool end, not a damp hide in and you're not misting it should be fine |

Posted - 05/08/2009 : 07:49:02 well i went home last night took it out the vivarium and put in in the fridge and it stays at 70% so i just left it in my room all night and it still said 70% so it quite clearly doesnt work |

Posted - 04/08/2009 : 17:49:17 As Matty said the dial thermometers and hygrometers are inacurate, my one was 10% out. Get a digital one and see what it is. |

Posted - 04/08/2009 : 16:30:49 If you put less water in it will evaporate faster, causing higher humidity |

Posted - 04/08/2009 : 13:50:15 what should the humidity be? |

Posted - 04/08/2009 : 13:46:57 Increase the ventilation and move the water bowl away from the heat source. However, the dial thermometers and hygrometers are know to be inacurate. |
