Where shoud I feed my snake.

Ive been told that I should take him out of the viv and feed him in a tank, the idea being that he doesnt mistake my hand in his viv as food.

I notice that a few peeps feed their snake in the viv.

Having just got Snowy I bought a couple of boxes in the 99p store, one is for Snowy so he does not get out of the viv I drilled small holes in the lid the other is for feeding

good points there remmy.

I always feed mine in a yellow box, I have been using my old exo viv so he's safe and in peace as I do not have a box with a lid. I use these are they are easier to clean then mouse guts over the viv, and it smelling like a roast dinner cooking in his home, he'd be in feeding mode till i clean it, which would be hard if he's thinking everythings a mouse since it'd smell so strong.

I feed Sid outside the viv on my lap, He seems quite happy with this arrangement.
I have not fed Tango yet as he has just arrived.

i have same thing with my big corn flatly refuses to eat in feed tub pretty much just spends time looking for escape route.. so have fed him in viv last couple of times and was fine bless him.. also doing same with royal atm for next few feeds but none have thought of me as dinner either.. prolly the alcohol hand rub gel kinda makes em think otherwise..lol

As Anna does. I feed Rizla on an exo terra water bowl that only goes in the viv at feeding time.

I feed Sneaky in his viv. I noticed he's a lot more comfortable and relaxed eating in his cave.

like sc said it's upto the snake, some will flatly refuse to feed out of the viv and some will.I have slate tiles in my vivs to use as a "plate" to serve the prey on,stops it getting covered in substrate

its personal prefrence and how the snake wants to be fed. just beware of substrate if you chose to feed in the viv
