Posted - 27/07/2009 : 19:28:22 What are your guys methods of spot cleaning..?
I have found some suprises in the tank and need to remove them..
I used to scoop them up with kitchen roll yet this proved a bit messy. (aspen went everywhere!!)
I was thinking of using a dustpan but the tanks a bit small and don't want to take out too much substrate!!
Idea's anyone? I've seen that hermit crab one floating around in a few shops but tbh, £6? No thanks!

Posted - 28/07/2009 : 16:45:26 I use an old spoon, great scoop and can get into corners plus scratch off stubborn bits. Its also easy to steralise, just like feeding tongs ^^ |

full cleaned out last weekend - then s/he went and ruined it, having a clean tank must get their bowels going.
They have funny ways of showing you they love you.. ah well :)
