WARNING!

if you use a Perfecto viv (or similar brand that has a sliding mesh lid) PLEASE make sure you fit a lock!

if i'd had a snake in it i would have anyway, BUT i had feeder mice in it instead so didn't think locking was necessary.............

WRONG! one of the damn cats climbed up, managed to get his claws into the mesh lid and slide it off and eat the 'contents'

yes they were feeder mice.............. BUT NOT FOR THE CATS!!!

I can't work out how to secure it - what's a carabine hook GP?
gingerpony Posted - 15/07/2009 : 22:28:46

Theyre too small gaps to fit locks :!

I'd feed the cat to the snake. All the goodness of those mice and whiskas into the bargain. :D

I agree, I believe somewhere buried in the ancient vault of this forum there is a thread about it. (Antilagman and others may still be locked there as well, thanks Kaz!!!)

I'm not against the debate itself, what I was against was the way everything was coming across, I know debates can get heated, but it looked like it was gonna escalate so I put a stop to it.

I used to live feed in the past, but on a different scale, but I still couldn't recommend live feeding, but if an animal has to survive.

So if anyone wants to start the convo, feel free to start a new topic.

The one about co-habiting has lots of different points of view AND is informative and slightly argumentative. Because of that it was stickied for the info as well as showing opinions.

We are not a dictatorship on here, we don't mind what is spoken about* so long as there's no slanging matches.

*=except anything of an adult nature, we are family friendly

I can't get the mental image of a cat looking casually past and then the double take out of my head, i find it bad enough keeping my cat out the house with the frozen variety :)

But surely a proper debate should not turn into a slagging match lol!
But i get ur point that with some ppl it probably would lol!
Ell Posted - 12/07/2009 : 08:02:17
At least the cat ate them and they weren't wasted I guess..
HannahB Posted - 11/07/2009 : 22:10:08
wow bet the cat enjoyed himself!!
gingerpony Posted - 11/07/2009 : 21:38:40
we are but that wasn't the point of my post.
RFUK aka 'the dark side' has a reputation for slanging matches and this is not that kinda forum
Chimp276 Posted - 11/07/2009 : 21:02:08
Are we not allowed to debate things on this forum then?
Not that i care lol, but was just wondering?
