Hello,

I'm thinking about trying to breed corns this year. Although I want to make sure I have the suitable housing available.

As everyone knows I'm a crazy Ikea fan. So could this be used?

If you want an excuse to go shopping in Ikea, something like this: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00111994/ is perfect for heat cable to be run along the shelves, you'll get the whole lot done with one cable. While you're in Ikea, get some Glimma tea light holders, thety make perfect hatchling water dishes :)

Thank you eeji! Brilliant spot, will have to find a place for it now lol I've seen the metal one on Ikea, would this work its £3.00 cheaper

You could convert a wardrobe into a breeding rack saw it done a few times, the wardrobes from ikea are ideal because you can purchase the extra shelves that are cut to fit :)

I think the lids will be strong enough. My main concern is where would the heat strip go?

Got to run this past the O/H. Don't want to breed them, if they can't be housed

Glue some mesh over the lid? Would be a handy vent ^_^

I don't see why not, the tubs would need lids though. There is a rectangular Trofast storage unit that may be better so you could stack them.
