Posted - 25/05/2012 : 11:38:08 will it effect my cornsnake if i dont allways turn on his daylight bulb during the day ? becuase he seems to only come out when its off. the bulb doesnt make any extra heat.

Posted - 25/05/2012 : 12:19:46 corns are crepescular (most active at dawn and dusk) they do not need any additional lighting, but if you want to put one in so you can see him better then there's no problem with that. :) |

Posted - 25/05/2012 : 11:45:26 Corn snakes dont need any sort of additional lighting - for most people its to light up the viv to give better viewing.
If you really want some kind of lighting in there make sure you use a timer(and a bulb guard!). |
