I'm actually thinking about investing in something like a Polti steam cleaner to be honest. No need to buy any products then, plus absolutely no chemicals to worry about.

Plus it can be used for other household tasks, everyone's a winner

Reptile disinfectant and water.

Resin hides and water dishes get the eeji treatment. Left to dry overnight after a good rinse.

mine are all plastic tubs so bung them in the bath, slosh a bit of bleach in, add a bit of water so my hands don't melt then after a scrub give them a really good rinse

Detol surface spray or wipes! ''Safe to use where food is prepared'' so i figure its fine.

I found some reptile cleaner spray at my local pets at home, and I use that for my cleaning. It says "BEAPHAR- Deep Clean, Longer Lasting Disinfectant" tells me its highly effective verses salmonella, no dyes, no smell and that its safe for all reptile and amphibian housing. Also its got a picture of a beardie on the front, so it makes me happy :)

i spot clean with baby wipes and when i do a full one (only had mine a month so have done it once) i bought some cheap disinfectant and use it sparingly,i bought seperate sponges etc to use and with boiling hot water.......how do you clean hides tho and wood come to think of it??

I got myself some specific reptile cleaning spray (claims to kill Salmonella etc) - i understand that a 10% bleach/water solution can be used, but that if you go down this route you'll need to ensure no residue is left behind
