but she still keeps rattling her tail and tries to get away when i go to pick her up!
she's fine in my hands though once i've picked her up :) |

This is typical snake like behaviour. Just stick with it and in time the snake will know you wont be backing down xx |

Sounds like you have a snake! They don't like been picked up, they tolerate it once their up but will quite often postest. They soon learn its pointless though, give it time. |
