Fed my snake for the first time on 13/06/11 he had one pinky but hasn't yet done his business. how long does it usually take and what is the rules on handling before he goes? |

depends on what the snake is fed on!
if its a pinkie then it will be small and smell a bit.. just watch out for the tail raising and the lower body almost pulsating towards the vent area - that's when you need to get the tissue out or put the snake back in its housing!! |

mine usually poo about 48 hrs after a feed, i try to avoid handling till they've been as i do get covered otherwise but its a personal choice once those 48 hrs are up |

you can handle the snake 48 hrs after the feed as it will give them time to digest properly. Mine poo within a couple of days of eating. xx |
