hey guys,
chihiro hasnt eaten since we got her home, we left her a good week and a bit to settle in, with the exception of a few pictures.

and i heard about boiling pinkies, iv tried braining them, leaving them in the faun with it covered and dark. etc.

i was wondering how one goes about boiling the pinkies?

Thankyou :)

answer to the original Q:

if its only a pinky, drop one into a cup of boiling water for a few minutes then when you take it out let it cool to a sensible temperature and feed while its still nice and warm.

You may or may not get a popped pinky belly but its still good to feed. The skin will feel all loose and squishy because the underlying fat melts so you may tear the skin, again its still good to feed (the extra juicy smells may actually help)

:)

I'm sure I read it on a thread that someone used this with their corn to get them to feed, can't remember who posted it.

When i feed mine i take pinkies out the freezer the night before and warm them in their tub over boiling kettle, while it's boiling to make morning cuppa. She gets fed every wed morning after i've had my morning cuppa lol.

Just out of interest where did you hear about the tuna/salmon method? I heard of it for hoggies but not for corns.
