Hi everyone i have posted this once in the wrong place i think hahaha so here it is again. I am thinking of building my own viv and was wondering if this would be ok to use or not http://www.wickes.co.uk/structural-plywood-18x1220x2440mm/invt/110036/. Also would i need to varnish it when it's complete or will it be ok to leave as it is.

It will be fine if it is sealed

It states the type of wood is spruce so it's no good.
Spruce is part of the pine family.
I wouldn't risk it, even varnished!

It should be fine as long as its sealed for 2 reasons. 1 - Many woods eg pine r harmful to snakes and 2 - the sealer prevents any water damage. A good yacht sealer usaully does the trick, just make sure all the fumes are gone before placing snake in.
