| Hi everyone i have posted this once in the wrong place i think hahaha so here it is again. I am thinking of building my own viv and was wondering if this would be ok to use or not http://www.wickes.co.uk/structural-plywood-18x1220x2440mm/invt/110036/. Also would i need to varnish it when it's complete or will it be ok to leave as it is. |

| It should be fine as long as its sealed for 2 reasons. 1 - Many woods eg pine r harmful to snakes and 2 - the sealer prevents any water damage. A good yacht sealer usaully does the trick, just make sure all the fumes are gone before placing snake in. |

It states the type of wood is spruce so it's no good.
Spruce is part of the pine family. 
I wouldn't risk it, even varnished! |
