Yum - not sure i'd fancy preparing them like that, although AURYN is probably big enough for the whole thing (maybe a couple) - I think I'll stick to Multi's as treats

Would've thought so, plus although they might be pricey individually, if you get the entire set they work out to be really cheep.

Because I've run out of mice.....I wouldn't be doing it for no good reason. It's worked a treat though so would do it in future- much cheaper than mice. It's not really wastage either. I often find the legs undigested, and the thighs have gone back in the freezer. I wouldn't call about 5p worth of chick heads wastage either.

Naelou, my lot get them regularly, just as often as their mice/rats, if not more so. The advice that they are nutritionally poor is incorrect- they are as good as a mouse in most respects.

Yeah they can, but these were for some of my smaller guys who just wouldn't be big enough to manage a whole one- I cut the head and legs off to make the remaining lump more like their usual mouse size.

My bigger ones get the whole lot.

Seems like lots of effort and wastage...! Why not just feed them mice til they're big enough?
